Kathleen B. Jones, Ph. D., an ordained minister, writes original text designed especially for each ceremony she officiates.

With thirty years of university teaching and mentoring experience in interdisciplinary studies, and more than ten years’ experience officiating weddings and commitment ceremonies, Dr. Jones brings sensitivity, compassion, and an ethical capacity for listening to a couple’s needs to every client she serves.

A published author whose scholarly and contemporary writings are internationally acclaimed, Dr. Jones works closely with her clients to imagine a ceremony designed to suit their needs.

Dr. Kathleen B. Jones is affiliated with the Universal Life Church, is a member of the American Humanist Association, and belongs to the Association of Bridal Consultants. She holds a doctorate in political theory from City University of New York and an honorary doctorate in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Örebro, Sweden. She lives in San Diego, CA.
